BlindScreen® Gold Partner
Especially useful for bifold doors, patio doors, large glazed areas and new build homes where privacy, heat, insects or blackout control matter. BlindScreen® is made for the doors and glazed spaces where ordinary blinds can feel awkward. It is a neat way to enjoy fresh air, reduce glare, add privacy and improve comfort across hot summers and colder months, without spoiling the clean look of your room.
BlindScreen® is much easier to understand when you see it move. That is why we bring samples and talk you through the options at home.
Google Reviews
“I only planned to have one bedroom window done, but I’ll definitely be ordering more for the other bedrooms. I work shifts for the NHS and often have to sleep during the day. Since having BlindScreen fitted, I no longer need to wear an eye mask. The blackout is amazing and the photos really don’t do it justice. Ria was friendly, knew the product inside out and never made me feel pushed into anything.”
Oliver Barker, Google review
“From start to finish Ria has been amazing. From her home visit with us. Her recommendations for which blindscreens would be best for our windows…”

Real Installation
Most blinds are designed for standard windows. They work well there. But when you have a set of bifold doors, a wide patio opening or a run of floor-to-ceiling glazing, a traditional blind can feel awkward, bulky or simply wrong for the space.
BlindScreen® was designed for these bigger, more modern openings, which are particularly common in new build homes. It sits neatly within the opening, works independently from the doors and can be supplied with privacy fabric, blackout fabric, thermal fabric, flyscreen mesh or a dual-track combination.
It is especially useful for the rooms people actually live in: kitchen diners, extensions, garden rooms and family spaces where doors are opened often, but privacy, shade, summer heat, winter comfort and insects still need thinking about.
The honest answer is this: BlindScreen® is not right for every opening. When Ria visits in Luther, the fully electric Ria’s Interiors van, she brings the fabric and screen options to your home and shows you where it works brilliantly and where a different solution would be better.
See It Working
BlindScreen® is a movement-based product. A still photo helps, but seeing the screen move, stack and cover the opening is what makes the product click.
A clear look at how the system works across a larger opening.
Useful for patio doors, bifolds and garden-facing rooms in warmer weather.
A cleaner way to reduce glare, improve comfort and help manage privacy on larger glazing.
Ideal where you want the room to stay clean, simple and uncluttered.

What BlindScreen® helps with
Open your doors in warmer weather without flies and bugs becoming part of the evening. The flyscreen mesh lets air circulate freely while helping to keep insects out.
“I also chose the fly-screen option, so I can leave the window open on warm evenings without mosquitoes getting in.”
From Oliver Barker’s Google review
Enjoy your glazed doors and garden-facing rooms without feeling overlooked. Privacy fabric can help you keep the space feeling bright while reducing the view in from outside.
Useful for bright extensions, garden rooms, bifolds and large panes of glass where sunlight can make the room uncomfortable. For conservatories themselves, see our conservatory and roof blinds guide.
Thermal fabric options can help reduce heat build-up through larger glazed areas in summer, while also helping rooms feel more comfortable in colder months. Useful for bifolds, extensions and garden rooms that can get too hot during unpredictable British heatwaves.
BlindScreen® sits neatly within the opening, so it keeps the modern look of bifolds, patio doors and larger glazing. No bulky blinds, no awkward finish.
BlindScreen® Options
BlindScreen® is not a one-size-fits-all product. The right setup depends on how you use the room, how much privacy you need and whether insects, glare, summer heat, winter comfort or blackout are the biggest issue.
Helps reduce the view from outside while allowing diffused light into the room. A strong choice for living spaces, garden-facing rooms and overlooked glazing.
Designed for stronger light control and improved comfort around larger glazed areas. Useful where bifold or patio doors create glare, heat build-up in summer, heat loss in winter or too much brightness in bedrooms, snugs and media rooms.
“I work shifts for the NHS and often have to sleep during the day. Since having BlindScreen fitted, I no longer need to wear an eye mask.”
From Oliver Barker’s Google review
Lets air flow through while helping to keep insects out. Particularly useful on doors that open onto gardens, patios and outdoor seating areas.
Two tracks in one system, often with flyscreen mesh on one track and privacy fabric on the other. Use one, both, or neither depending on the time of day.
Every system is measured to suit the specific opening. The measure matters, especially with larger spans, reveal depths and door handles.
We bring samples to your home so you can see the fabrics, mesh and finish in your actual light, with your doors and your room layout.
Why Ria’s Interiors
BlindScreen® is not the sort of product to guess at from a website image. The opening needs checking, the use of the room needs understanding and the finish needs to be right.
We bring physical BlindScreen® samples so you can see the privacy, blackout, thermal and flyscreen options before making a decision.
The quality of a BlindScreen® installation depends heavily on the initial measure. We check the opening, frame, handles, threshold and fitting position carefully. In new build homes that includes understanding the wall and frame construction around bifold and patio doors, so fixings sit where it is safe and appropriate to drill.
BlindScreen® is excellent in the right setting, but it is not the answer for every opening. We will say so if another product makes more sense.
The whole point is to keep the room looking smart. We advise on the option that gives you the right mix of function, comfort and appearance.
