Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Made-to-measure window dressings for Peterborough homes

Peterborough is a city of contrasts, from period townhouses near the cathedral to large modern estates in Hampton, Orton and Werrington. That variety is exactly why made-to-measure advice matters. What suits a Victorian bay window in the city centre is rarely the same thing that suits an open-plan kitchen-diner on a new build estate.

We cover Peterborough and the surrounding Cambridgeshire villages with a mobile showroom approach. Rather than asking you to travel to a shop and guess how something will look, we come to you with proper sample books, real product examples and the kind of honest advice that only comes from seeing the actual room.

Whether you need a single blind for a bedroom or a whole-house scheme for a new build home, the process is the same. We measure properly, quote clearly and fit carefully. We also cover nearby areas including Yaxley, Whittlesey, Werrington, Hampton, Orton and Eye.

Made-to-measure shutters are a popular choice for new build homes in Peterborough, particularly for front-facing rooms, bedrooms and bay windows where privacy and a clean fitted look matter most. We help you decide where shutters are genuinely worth the investment and where blinds or curtains may suit a room better, with our UK-made range usually available sooner than imported shutters.

From made-to-measure blinds and made-to-measure curtains to shutters, sometimes searched for as plantation shutters or shutter blinds, every product is shown and measured at your free home consultation in Peterborough.

Why Ria’s Interiors

What makes the difference when you book with us

We bring the showroom to you. We are not a franchise and we are not a big box retailer with a sales target to hit. Every job matters to us, and the way we work reflects that.

  1. Proper home adviceSeeing samples in your own room, in your own light, is worth far more than picking from a website or guessing under shop lighting. We make sure you are choosing with confidence.
  2. Accurate measuringEvery window gets measured properly. There is no shortcut here, because an ill-fitting blind or curtain is not something anyone wants to live with.
  3. Tidy, respectful fittingOur fitter wears indoor house shoes and works neatly. We respect the home we are in and leave things as clean as we found them, if not better.
  4. Aftercare includedIf anything needs adjusting once it is up, we come back. That is just how it should work, and it is what we do.
