About Our Curtains
Made-to-measure curtains look very different in your own room than they do in a catalogue or showroom. Whether you are looking at thermal lined curtains, blackout curtains for bedrooms or practical curtains for kitchens, the fabric, colour and drape all need to work in your own light. A fabric that photographs beautifully in a bright, south-facing studio can read completely flat in a north-facing bedroom. The colour can shift. The drape can disappoint. And once they are made and hung, there is very little you can do about it.
The whole point of our home visit is to remove that risk. We bring full sample books, not swatches, and you hold the fabric against your walls, in your light, with your furniture in the room. The difference that makes to the quality of the final decision is significant. We can also help you co-ordinate curtains and made-to-measure blinds across the same room.
We then measure every window properly, order to your chosen specification and fit with care. If anything needs adjusting once they are hung, we come back. We cover Peterborough, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Bourne, Spalding and surrounding Cambridgeshire areas.
