With Ria’s Interiors the answer is simple: Ria measures and advises at your home, and our own fitter installs everything. Nothing is passed to a third party, and nothing is left to chance between the measure and the install.

The service covers made-to-measure blinds of every kind, including Roman blinds, roller blinds, Venetian blinds, vertical blinds, Perfect Fit blinds and conservatory blinds, along with made-to-measure curtains, plantation shutters and BlindScreen® systems for bifold and patio doors. Whatever the product, the process is the same: measured properly, advised honestly, supplied and fitted carefully.

How the measuring
visit works

Ria comes to your home with the sample books, blind samples, shutter finishes and BlindScreen® options, so you choose against your own walls and in your own light. Every window is measured properly: recess depths checked, squareness checked, obstructions like handles, tiles and radiators noted, and the right fitting method decided window by window.

You then receive a clear written quote covering the products, measuring, delivery and professional fitting. There is no pressure on the day and no pushy follow-up. The measuring and the survey are free, and there is no obligation to go ahead.

New Build Knowledge

Walls, drilling and fixings,
without guesswork

New build homes are where fitting knowledge earns its keep. Modern homes mix plasterboard, dot-and-dab walls, steel and concrete lintels and uPVC frames, and each needs the right fixing in the right place. Drill in the wrong spot above a new build window and you find the lintel; use the wrong plug in plasterboard and the blind works loose within months.

We fit blinds, curtains, shutters and BlindScreen® in new build homes every week, so we know where the fixing points are, which fixings suit which walls, and when a no-drill option such as Perfect Fit is the smarter answer. If you would rather nothing was drilled into your new frames or walls at all, we will tell you honestly which products make that possible.

Fitting Day

Careful, tidy fitting,
down to the house shoes

Our fitter keeps a separate pair of indoor house shoes just for working inside customers’ homes, and he takes real pride in leaving the working area clean and tidy. He sometimes leaves it cleaner than he found it. Dust sheets where needed, packaging taken away, and every blind, curtain and shutter checked and demonstrated before he leaves.

If anything ever needs attention after the job is done, we come back. That is what supplied and fitted should mean: one company responsible for the whole result, not a product in a box and good luck.
