Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Cambridge homes often call for a more considered approach, where finish, proportion and detail really matter. A lot of properties here suit something carefully chosen, where the right fabric, heading, slat size or blind style can be the difference between looking decent and looking properly finished. That is not something you can figure out from a website or a small swatch in a shop.
That is exactly where the home visit matters. We can look at the space, the natural light and the style of the room and help you narrow down what will actually work rather than what looked good in a brochure. We bring a wide range of samples including premium fabric options, and we take the time to talk through the choices properly.
From simple Roman blinds in a study to interlined curtains in a drawing room or waterproof shutters in a Victorian bay, we cover the full range across Cambridge and the surrounding Cambridgeshire villages. We work right across the city and its edges: Trumpington, Cherry Hinton and Chesterton, the newer developments growing around the city, and villages such as Histon, Girton and Great Shelford.
From made-to-measure blinds and made-to-measure curtains to shutters, sometimes searched for as plantation shutters or shutter blinds in Cambridge, every product is shown and measured at your free home consultation.

What we offer in Cambridge
All products are made to measure for your specific windows. Everything we do in Cambridge is about getting the detail right.
Made-to-measure curtains in premium fabrics with the heading, lining and tracking that suits the room. We carry a wide selection including cottons, linens, velvets and sheers, and help you balance the practical and the aesthetic so the result feels right for the property.
Roman blinds, roller blinds, Venetian blinds in wood or aluminium, vertical blinds and Perfect Fit options. Made to measure and fitted by our specialist. We advise on light control, privacy and the proportions that work for different room types in Cambridge homes.
Shutters are a popular, timeless choice in Cambridge. Full-height, café-style and tier-on-tier options in hardwood or waterproof finishes, particularly suited to older properties with character windows and bay frontages. Many customers are surprised how competitive our UK-made shutters are on price, so ask us to quote them alongside imported plantation shutters.
As a Blind Screen® Gold Partner, we also fit Blind Screen® systems in Cambridge for bifold doors, patio doors and large glazed openings, with privacy, shade, blackout and fresh-air-without-insects options for the way modern homes open onto the garden. Find out more about Blind Screen® →
