We bring the showroom to you. Ria arrives with fabric books, blind samples, shutter finishes and Blind Screen® options, so you can see the colours and finishes in your own rooms and your own light before you decide anything.
There is a lot of new housing going up in and around Harlow, including Newhall, and Ria is regularly out visiting new-build homes in the area. You do not need to arrive at the appointment knowing what you want. Most people don’t, and that is what the visit is for.
We are an independent, female-led business, not a national chain. There is no Harlow showroom to travel to because we come to you, and you deal with Ria from the first conversation to the final fitting.
New Build Homes
A new build arrives with bare windows in every room, and usually a moving date that will not wait. Ria has spent years helping new-build owners through exactly this, so you do not have to work it all out yourself.
One visit covers every window. Ria looks at the property as a whole, so colours, finishes and products sit well together from room to room while each room still gets the most practical option.
You do not have to do everything at once. Many customers begin with privacy at the front and blackout in the bedrooms, then add the rest once they have settled in.
Bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms and big glazed doors all ask for something different. Ria will tell you plainly what works where, including when a simpler option will do the job just as well.
New-build windows are rarely as identical as they look. Ria measures every one herself, checking reveals, handles and trickle vents, so nothing is ordered on a guess and costly mistakes are avoided.
Where it is practical, we will organise things around your move so the windows are dressed soon after you get the keys. Measuring before completion is only possible where the developer allows access, so we never promise it, but it is always worth asking. More about our new build service →
What We Supply and Fit
Everything is made to measure for your own windows and then professionally fitted. This is what Ria brings to a consultation in Harlow.
Roller blinds, Venetian blinds including faux wood and real wood, pleated and cellular blinds, and Perfect Fit blinds that clip into uPVC windows and doors without drilling. Blackout options are available for bedrooms, and motorised blinds where they make sense.

About Ria
Ria is the founder of Ria’s Interiors, and she is the person who comes to your home. She has spent years working with blinds, curtains and window dressings in customers’ own homes, and a good share of that has been in new builds.
The business is female-led, independent and deliberately personal. Ria listens to how you want to use each room, shows you samples there and then, and gives you honest advice. There is no pushy selling and no pressure to decide on the day.
Everything is professionally measured and professionally fitted. Our fitter even keeps a separate pair of clean indoor shoes for customers’ homes, and takes real care to leave the room tidy once the installation is complete.

You do not need to know exactly what you want before you book. Working that out together is part of the consultation.

Our fitter installs everything carefully, checks it all works as it should and leaves the room tidy. If anything needs adjusting afterwards, we come back.
